Section W-1A or W-1S?

You may have noticed that the Section W-1A Website has changed just a little bit, and the Section name has been changed online to reflect the renaming of our Section. Previously we held the title of "W-1A" which was a designation given to us because of our location in Area 1 of the Western Region BSA's geographical structure; and the letter "A" as a generic means of diferentiating the sections (A, B, & C). Based on recent national realignments in the Regions, all Sections in the Western Region have been realigned and/or renamed.

Our Section, previously W-1A, is now W-1S. We still remain in Area 1 of the Western Region, but are now given the designation of "S" due to our southern location within Area 1.
